Life can be seen as an ongoing effort to grow and change, a journey that involves creative thought, expression, and empathy with sensitivity to our collective lived experience.
I reflect on the layers that conceal the essence of a lived experience in order to create sculptural forms as visual narratives. Living and creating are therefore inseparable, a single reciprocal practice, where meaning and potential can venture beyond the boundaries of societal constructs and expectations.
There are moments when I doubt this approach, when the mirror between life and the creative practice is blurred, a single path difficult to navigate. However, remaining open to this inseparable engagement between life and visual narratives is rewarding and significant.
Diverse perspectives can become material inspiration to evoke and reflect on our shared human condition.
